About Jervoise Bay Sailing Club
## Introduction - Jervoise Bay Sailing Club (JBSC) is an off‑the‑beach sailing club located on the northern side of Woodman Point at Owen Anchorage, Coogee, Western Australia. The club is best known for its emphasis on multihulls — principally small catamarans and foiling craft — and for hosting regular club racing alongside state, national and international events.
## What the club offers - Regular racing: Sunday summer racing and a winter series, plus sprint and championship events. - Facilities tailored to multihulls: launching ramps (including a private ramp for members), broad grassed rigging areas and on‑site trailer/boat storage suited to catamaran fleets. - Event hosting experience: a long track record of staging major multihull regattas and training events.
## Who sails here - JBSC attracts specialist catamaran sailors, foiling competitors and dinghy sailors who focus on high‑performance beach boats. The club’s membership competes locally, interstate and at national titles under the club burgee.
## Practical notes - The club lies about 30 minutes by road from central Perth, with nearby accommodation and amenities that support visiting regatta fleets.
