About Henley Sailing Club
## Introduction - Henley Sailing Club is an off-the-beach dinghy club based at 1 Seaview Road, West Beach, on the Adelaide metropolitan coastline. Founded in 1911, the club is recorded as the state’s oldest surviving off-the-beach sailing club and celebrated its centenary in 2011.
- The club is run by volunteers and operates from a clubhouse built by members after storm damage in 1948. Facilities reflect a beach-club focus: wide sand launching areas, lawns, accessible parking and tractors/buggies for moving boats between lawn and water.
