About Survitec Australia (RFD)

Survitec is one of the biggest names in marine survival equipment, and many Australian sailors know it by its long-standing local brand, **RFD**. Its Australian headquarters at Wetherill Park in western Sydney is the largest service centre in the whole Survitec Group, with around 126 staff in Australia.

## What stands out - **Purpose-built facility.** The Wetherill Park site brings warehousing, administration, servicing and manufacturing together, with dedicated cells for marine liferaft and lifejacket servicing. - **Brand expertise.** If your liferaft is an RFD or other Survitec make, this is the manufacturer's own service operation.

## Good to know Liferafts must be serviced at set intervals to stay certified. If you race offshore, you'll need a current service certificate for your safety inspection, so book well before the season starts. Service stations get busy before big races.
