About George Town Yacht & Power Boat Club
George Town Yacht Club — also known as the George Town Yacht & Motor Boat Club — is based at 13 Esplanade North, George Town, on the eastern shore of the Tamar River close to its mouth at Low Head. It is affiliated with Australian Sailing and brings together sailing and power boat enthusiasts.
The clubhouse has a bar overlooking the water with regular opening hours, and the club hosts functions, fundraising events and working bees throughout the year.
